A vanilla flavoured custard sauce which can be served with a variety of desserts. Try it with our recipes for chocolate steamed pudding, apple pie or apple crumble.

  • Double cream icon
    Double cream300 g
  • Vanilla extract icon

  • Egg yolk icon

    Method

  • 1. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  • 2. Add milk, double cream and vanilla extract to the kCook bowl
  • 3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  • 4. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  • 5. Cook with filler cap removed - 4 min, 80°C, speed 4
  • 6. Stir with filler cap removed - 4 min, speed 4
  • 7. Add egg yolk and granulated sugar to a clean medium bowl
  • 8. Mix
  • 9. Cook - 14 min, 75°C, speed 4
  • 10. Transfer egg mixture to mixture gradually while machine is running
  • 11. Cook with filler cap removed - 8 min, 80°C, speed 3
  • 12. Strain mixture into jug
  • 13. Serve
