Crisp and light savoury shortbread. The rich cheese flavour and hint of garlic go well with any aperitif.

    Method

  • 1. Add plain flour and unsalted butter to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 2. Add parmesan cheese, sea salt, black pepper and garlic
  • 3. Mix until well combined
  • 4. Roll into 1.5 inch log
  • 5. Chill in freezer - 10 min
  • 6. Pre-heat oven - 190°C / 375°F
  • 7. Cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
  • 8. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  • 9. Arrange pieces on baking sheet
  • 10. Bake until golden brown - 18 min, 190°C / 375°F, middle rack
