Swedish Blueberry Tart

This delightful after-dinner treat can be prepared in no time and baked as your guests enjoy their meal. You can adapt the blueberries for any seasonal berries.


  • Plain flour icon

  • Salted butter icon
    Salted butter120 gdiced
  • Granulated sugar icon
    Granulated sugar200 g
  • Baking powder icon

  • Vanilla extract icon

  • Crème fraîche icon
    Crème fraîche200 ml
  • Egg yolk icon

  • 1. Line a clean springform pan with parchment paper
  • 2. Add plain flour, salted butter, granulated sugar, baking powder and vanilla extract to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 3. Blend until dough forms
  • 4. Press pie crust into springform pan
  • 5. Chill in fridge - 30 min
  • 6. Pre-heat oven - 190°C / 375°F
  • 7. Add crème fraîche, egg yolk and granulated sugar to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 8. Mix until well combined
  • 9. Spread mixture with pie evenly
  • 10. Add blueberries to a clean small bowl
  • 11. Press berries gently into mix
  • 12. Bake until set - 15 min, 150°C / 300°F
  • 13. Let cool completely
