Dense, rich no-bake brownies with an unbelievably intense chocolate flavour. (Gluten-Free, Vegan, Paleo)


  • Pecan halves icon

  • Cocoa powder icon

  • Ground cinnamon icon

  • Vanilla extract icon

  • Cayenne pepper icon

  • Orange juice icon
    Orange juice3 tablespoons
  • Coconut oil icon
    Coconut oil60 mlmelted
  • Maple syrup icon
    Maple syrup120 ml

  • 1. Line a clean square pan with parchment paper
  • 2. Add pecan halves, raisins, dates, cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, cayenne pepper, salt and orange juice to a clean medium bowl
  • 3. Blend until fine
  • 4. Press base into square pan
  • 5. Add coconut oil, maple syrup and cocoa powder to a clean medium bowl
  • 6. Whisk until smooth
  • 7. Pour glaze into brownies
  • 8. Chill in fridge until firm - approx 2 hr
  • 9. Cut into squares
