    Method

  • 1. Add water, milk and unsalted butter to a clean saucepan
  • 2. Heat gently and set aside
  • 3. Add all purpose flour, sugar, quick-rise yeast and salt to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 4. Whisk briefly until combined
  • 5. Transfer butter to dough
  • 6. Mix until combined
  • 7. Add egg to the dough
  • 8. Mix until dough forms
  • 9. Knead until smooth - 10 min, dough hook
  • 10. Grease a clean medium bowl
  • 11. Transfer dough to medium bowl and cover
  • 12. Let rise until doubled - 1 hr
  • 13. Grease pan with some butter on parchment paper
  • 14. Turn out the dough on lightly-floured surface
  • 15. Roll into a rectangle
  • 16. Add unsalted butter, granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to a clean small bowl
  • 17. Mix briefly until combined
  • 18. Spread sugar mixture on the dough and roll it
  • 19. Cut the dough into rolls and arrange it in round pan. Cover with plastic wrap
  • 20. Let rise for 30 min
  • 21. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  • 22. Bake rolls until lightly browned - 25 min, 190°C
  • 23. Add powdered sugar, ground cinnamon and milk to a clean medium bowl
  • 24. Mix together
  • 25. Drizzle rolls with glaze
