Warm and buttery fluffy dinner rolls with the lightest pull-apart interior and soft, golden crust. These need a little time to rise, but require very little effort otherwise!

  • Active dried yeast icon

    Method

  • 1. Add active dried yeast, all purpose flour and water to a clean small bowl
  • 2. Whisk until combined
  • 3. Add salt, sugar, greek yogurt, water and egg to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 4. Whisk until well combined
  • 5. Mix yeast mixture into dough
  • 6. Add all purpose flour to the dough
  • 7. Mix until dough forms
  • 8. Add salted butter to a clean small glass bowl
  • 9. Melt - low heat
  • 10. Transfer content of small glass bowl to dough
  • 11. Knead - approx 3 min
  • 12. Grease a clean large mixing bowl
  • 13. Transfer dough to large mixing bowl
  • 14. Cover large mixing bowl with plastic wrap
  • 15. Let rise until doubled - 1 hr
  • 16. Grease a clean medium roasting dish
  • 17. Turn out large mixing bowl on lightly-floured surface
  • 18. Divide dough into 12 pieces
  • 19. Shape
  • 20. Place the dough balls into the dish
  • 21. Cover with plastic wrap
  • 22. Let rise - 40 min
  • 23. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  • 24. Bake until golden brown - 20 min, 190°C
