Yogurt Bread With Molasses

This recipe is hearty, healthy, moist and just barely sweet. It is ripe for substitutions, from using whatever flour you like to swapping out the molasses for honey.

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 160°C / 320°F
  • 2. Grease a clean loaf pan
  • 3. Add whole wheat flour, cornmeal, kosher salt and baking soda to a clean large mixing bowl and whisk until combined
  • 4. Add whole milk yogurt and molasses to a clean medium bowl and whisk until blended
  • 5. Transfer wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix until just combined
  • 6. Add cranberries and mix until just combined
  • 7. Transfer batter to loaf pan
  • 8. Bake until skewer tests clean - 1 hr
  • 9. Turn out onto cooling rack
