This easy cinnamon and sour cream coffee cake is so good you'll want it for breakfast and dessert.

    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  • 2. Grease and flour a clean round pan
  • 3. Add butter and white sugar to a clean stand mixer bowl
  • 4. Cream until fluffy
  • 5. Add egg to the batter
  • 6. Beat
  • 7. Add egg to the batter
  • 8. Beat
  • 9. Add sour cream and vanilla extract to the batter
  • 10. Fold until combined
  • 11. Add all purpose flour and baking powder to a clean small bowl and mix
  • 12. Transfer dry ingredients to batter
  • 13. Fold until just combined
  • 14. Add pecan pieces, white sugar and ground cinnamon to a clean small bowl and stir
  • 15. Transfer one third of batter to round pan
  • 16. Transfer three quarters of nuts to round pan
  • 17. Transfer the rest of batter to round pan
  • 18. Transfer the rest of nuts to round pan
  • 19. Bake and let cool - 55 min, 175°C
  • 20. Serve
