Flaky pie crust is seriously the best dessert invention ever. No sugar, buttery, feather light. It is really the way to go for most of my pies!

    Ingredients

  • Butter icon
    Butter50 gcubed
  • Water icon
    Wateras needediced
  • Coconut oil icon
    Coconut oil50 g
  • All purpose flour icon
    All purpose flour180 g
  • Pink himalayan salt flakes icon
    Pink himalayan salt flakes1 pinch
  • Apple cider vinegar icon
    Apple cider vinegar2 teaspoons
    Method

  • 1. Add butter, coconut oil, all purpose flour, salt and apple cider vinegar to the TM bowl
  • 2. Mix - 10 sec, speed 6
  • 3. Add water through the hole in the lid as you continue to mix 5 seconds, speed 7
  • 4. Remove pastry and bring together on a lightly floured silicone mat
  • 5. Wrap with plastic wrap
  • 6. Chill in fridge for at lease 20 minutes before using
