Chocolate fondue gets a chai-style makeover, with an optional cheeky splash of Cointreau. Use for dipping fruit, marshmallows, or top with steamed milk for a luxurious hot chocolate.

    Method

  • 1. Add dark chocolate to a clean medium glass bowl and set aside
  • 2. Add heavy cream, milk, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, black peppercorns, ginger, nutmeg and orange to a clean saucepan
  • 3. Heat until just boiling
  • 4. Leave - 30 min
  • 5. Strain with sieve
  • 6. Heat gently until just boiling
  • 7. Pour cream into chocolate
  • 8. Stir until smooth
  • 9. Serve
