  • Tomato sauce icon

    Method

  • 1. Add olive oil to a clean large saucepan
  • 2. Heat - medium heat
  • 3. Add onion, red bell pepper and garlic clove to the large saucepan
  • 4. Sauté until softened - approx 10 min
  • 5. Add chili powder, dried oregano, ground cumin and cayenne pepper to the large saucepan
  • 6. Stir - approx 2 min
  • 7. Add canned black beans and tomato sauce to the large saucepan
  • 8. Cook until just boiling then reduce heat
  • 9. Simmer until thickened - 15 min, low heat
  • 10. Serve
  • 11. Garnish with cilantro and sour cream
