    Method

  • 1. Add all purpose flour, instant polenta, baking powder, baking soda, chili powder, ground cumin and salt to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 2. Whisk until blended
  • 3. Add buttermilk, egg, salted butter and fresh chives to a clean medium bowl
  • 4. Whisk until combined
  • 5. Transfer wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix batter until combined
  • 6. Let rest - 15 min
  • 7. Cook until golden brown
