The best finger licking ribs ever. Pork is preferred, though you can easily swap out for beef, though there is less serves with beef. Enjoy!

  • Black pepper icon

    Method

  • 1. Make sure your ribs will fit into the varoma dish and tray
  • 2. Place paprika, chilli flakes, cumin, coconut sugar, salt, cayenne, garlic powder and black pepper into the Thermomix bowl
  • 3. Blend with MC fitted - 10 sec, speed 5
  • 4. Rub this mixture all over the ribs, coating them as well as possible
  • 5. Let rest in fridge for at least 8 hr
  • 6. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
  • 7. Place the ribs into the varoma dish and tray
  • 8. Put the water into the thermomix bowl and set varoma into position
  • 9. Steam - approx 1 hr, 100°C, speed 4
  • 10. Transfer the ribs into an ovenproof dish and coat with the smoky bbq sauce
  • 11. Bake until charred - 30-40 min, 220°C
  • 12. Serve with a fresh herb salad or smoky bbq sauce
