    Method

  • 1. Line 2 clean baking sheets with parchment paper
  • 2. Add unsalted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract and orange to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 3. Cream together
  • 4. Add all purpose flour and cornmeal and mix until dough forms
  • 5. Roll dough into logs
  • 6. Roll lightly in cornmeal
  • 7. Wrap with plastic wrap
  • 8. Chill in fridge - 30 min
  • 9. Pre-heat oven - 150°C / 300°F
  • 10. Slice into 3/4" rounds
  • 11. Arrange in the baking sheet
  • 12. Bake until golden brown - 30 min, 150°C / 300°F
